Toast the Bread: Lightly toast the sourdough until crisp around the edges but still tender in the center.
Build the Heart Shape: Slice each toast diagonally. Flip one half and press the cut edges together to create a heart shape.

Serve and Enjoy: Serve immediately while the toast is still crisp and the avocado is creamy.
Notes
Bite Me Recipe Note: You can use regular balsamic if you can’t find white, but white makes it’s prettier and carries a slightly brighter, milder and sweeter flavor than dark. This is enough to lightly coat the avocado and tomatoes without overdressing them. I almost always make the full batch because it’s incredibly good on salads, grain bowls, vegetables, and proteins throughout the week.
