HOW TO MAKE CURRY HUMMUS
- Drain the chickpeas, reserving the liquid.
- Add the chickpeas and all other ingredients to a food processor or blender and blend until completely smooth, about 2 minutes. If your hummus feels thick, add extra aquafaba one tablespoon at a time.
- Plate and garnish.

- 15 oz can chickpeas a.k.a garbanzo beans (265g), drained, liquid reserved
- ¼ cup tahini (60g)
- 1 clove garlic (6g)
- ½ lemon lemon juice (30ml), 2 tablespoons
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ teaspoon curry powder
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- ½ teaspoon fresh ginger grated
- 1 ½ tablespoon pure maple syrup (22ml)
- ¼ cup aquafaba (60ml), the chickpea liquid
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper optional: to add spice/heat
Instructions
- Drain the chickpeas, reserving the liquid.
